Cut and sew the thread
Now sew the fabric tape that you had previously
must curl up.
(The blue dashed line is the middle seam
and also the fold)
Fold the crimped tape at the seam and
sew on the hat.
Cut a circle out of some strong paper
from approx. Ø 9 cm. Cut it up to the middle and make a funnel out of it.
This then goes into the hat so that it remains stable.
The ruff
For the cervical collar you take the chip honing ribbon and the fabric ribbon. With the lighter
you scorch the ends beforehand so that the ribbons don’t fray later.
Place both ribbons on top of each other and sew them with the sewing machine in the
Zigzag stitch together. The zigzag stitch must be so large that you use the satin ribbon
of 3 mm. Thread on each side, two beads on the satin ribbon
and tie a knot at the ends so that the pearls cannot slide down again.
Keep a pearl at the top of each side of the ruff and tie it with a bow.
You can also fix them with a knot. The other two pearls remain on
lower end of the satin ribbon.
Finally, sew the bell on the top of the hat.
